Jamie Kaplan
Jamie Kaplan is a Recreation Therapist at the James A Haley VA Hospital. Jamie has a bachelor’s degree in Recreation Therapy from the University of Florida and a Master’s Degree in Special Education and Assistive Technology from Bowling Green State University. He has been a therapist for over 26 years, 17 at the VA. He currently runs the virtual reality and adaptive video gaming programs for physical medicine and rehab as well as the spinal cord injury unit. He is considered a subject matter expert in both virtual reality and adaptive gaming within the VA system and serves on the VA Field Advisory Board for Assistive Technology.
